'We can make it' was the message of the then National Education Committee (NEC) Chairman, Pastor Obinna Nkemjika when he mounted the podium to declare Deeper Life High School, Enugu Campus open. It was on Sunday October 9, 2011. He took his text from Neh.2:17-18. He went into history and traced the success stories of Japan after been devastated by Nagasaki and Hiroshima bombings. He concluded that our nation would be built with the advent of Deeper Life High School, the assistance from parents and the Church.

Deeper Life High School, Enugu is located in the suburb town of Amokpo-Nike in Enugu East Local Government Area of Enugu State. It was positioned to transform the nation by producing upright leaders of the future through high quality and sound education. Consequently, to produce students who are academically well grounded, morally upright and adequately equipped as future leaders. The philosophy of the school was summarized in: leadership with distinction.

The world and Nigeria in particular came on the tract of excellence and transformation as DLHS, Enugu was established. Enugu was one of the second generation campuses of Deeper Life High School.
