Introduction

In line with the new National Policy on Education the school system consists of two sessions – the Junior Secondary School and the Senior Secondary School.

The Junior Secondary School is a three-year course. At the end of the three-year course, students are presented for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) conducted by the state Ministry of Education and the National Examination Council.
