We are a community of faith based, scholastic and godly service, inspired by the nearly over 12 years of excellence tradition that promotes academic, social and human excellence for the greater glory of God.
We started operation in the year 2011 as extension of Deeper Life High School nationwide with the sole aim of bringing quality education and proper training of prospective students of Cross River State and its environment.
Admission into the campus occurs only in first year of Junior School, that is Grade 7, in that way, at graduation every student would have experienced six (6) solid years of quality education, moral uprightness, intellectual competent, adequately equipped and committed to the positive transformation of his/her environment through justice and equity.
Our admission is through an entrance examination which holds between March and April every year, unless otherwise stated, and it is based on the curriculum developed by the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC), candidates are tested in English language, Mathematics and subsequently interviewed for possible admission into our campuses of which nationality, ethnicity, race, religion and gender are no barriers.
However, in view of the nature of education and training offered at Deeper Life High School, Calabar, which places huge demand in both staff and students, interested candidates are expected to be in primary 6, that is grade 6 and at least should be a minimum of 10years old when they begin their year journey in the campus.
We are resolved to empower our students (C-curricula and co curricula efforts) to unleash their creative potentials in becoming agents of change that is true to our mission.

Afi Mountain Wildlife Sanctuary
Formerly part of the Afi River ForestReserve, the Afi Mountain Wildlife Sanctuary was established in 2000 to provide improved protection to important populations of several endangered species including the critically endangered Cross River gorilla, the Nigeria-Cameroon chimpanzee, the drill and the grey-necked Picathartes or rockfowl. Afi is covered by roughly 100km² of lowland and sub-montane forest with rocky peaks rising to altitudes of 1,300m. Although the steep mountainous slopes of the sanctuary have largely protected it from logging the forest is frequently damaged by dry-season bush fires set to clear new farms or to flush game. Open areas created by fire are quickly colonised by herb species which form an important staple food for gorillas. On the western flank of the mountain is a large grassland roost of migratory European barn swallows, estimated to contain up to 20 million birds at times and reputed to be the largest wintering roost site of swallows in Africa.
