by the Principal

Highly esteemed prospective parents, guardians and viewers.

It is with great honour and pleasure that I welcome you to the official page of Deeper Life High School, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.

Deeper Life High School is a mission co-educational full boarding school committed to an all-round and qualitative education. It is one school with several campuses spread across the capital cities in Nigeria.

The vision of this great school is to transform our society by producing upright leaders of the future through high quality and sound education.

Deeper Life High School, Ilorin campus came onboard on the 9th October, 2011. We have made and will continue to make groundbreaking feats with our state of art facilities.

Our environment is very serene, safe, supportive and conducive for encouraging creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and positive learning.

Every activity and programme in DLHS, Ilorin campus is tailored to the achievement of the school’s laudable vision of producing upright leaders.

In other words, our products are academically well grounded, morally upright and adequately equipped.

Our crop of educators are dedicated and accommodating teaching professionals, loving, God-fearing, skilled in developing and delivering engaging, interactive and effective lessons for students. They take excelling actions and help the students to achieve academic, sporting, cultural, technological, artificial intelligence and lifelong learning.

Learning in our school is learning to succeed in all areas of life. We make distinctive grades in internal and external competitions and examinations such as the Scholastic Aptitude Test, International General Certificate School Examination, Checkpoint, WASSCE, NECO SSCE& BECE, UTME JAMB.

Our track records are proven, successful and very impressive. Our products graduate yearly with distinctions and gain admission into standard Universities in and outside Nigeria.

Facts & Figures
of Host State

Kwara State, also known as the state of harmony, was created on 27 May, 1967.

It is a state in Western Nigeria, bordered to the east by Kogi State, to the north by Niger state, and to the south by Ekiti, Osun, and Oyo states, while its western border makes up part of the international border with Benin Republic.

The capital of Kwara State is the city of Ilorin, where Deeper Life High School is situated.

The state has 16 local government areas. Asa local government area houses DLHS.

As at 2006, the population of Kwarans was 2.37 million, based on the Nigerian 2006 Census.

Kwara state has been inhabited for years by various ethnic groups, primarily the majority Yoruba people that lived throughout the state, but there are sizeable minorities of Nupe people in the northeast, Bariba and Busa people in the west.

Ilorin, the state capital and largest town, is an industrial and education centre. It has food-processing and iron-working industries and is the site of a university, Unilorin, founded in 1975.

Kwara state has a federal university, the University of Ilorin (Unilorin), a state university, Kwara State University and seven other privately owned Universities:

Kwara state also has five approved polytechnics.

Of the fifteen Colleges of Education in Kwara state, eleven are owned by private establishments.

There is also a navy school, Nigerian Navy School of Health Science, Offa and an aviation college, International Aviation College, Ilorin.

Privately owned secondary and primary schools are scattered all over the state, same with Government owned schools.

Important tourist attractions in Kwara state include Esie Museum, Owu waterfalls, one of the highest and most spectacular waterfalls in west Africa.

Imoleboja Rock Shelter, Ogunjokoro, Kainji Lake National Parks, now in Niger state and Agbonna Hill—Awon Mass Wedding in Shao. There is also Sobi Hill amongst other, which is the largest landform in Ilorin, the state capital.

A huge natural reserve also divides the state into East and West. Ero Omola waterfall is also tourist attraction.
