EDOKPAIGBE  FRIDAY  hails from Oredo Local Government area of Edo, Edo state, Nigeria.  He was born in 1968 to the family of Edokpaigbe Osaya , among other eight children.

He is happily married and blessed with a son.

He studied at the College of Education, Benin, and  University of Benin, Benin City , Edo state , where he obtained National Certificate in Education and Bachelor in Agricultural Science  Education. He is currently working on a master decree program on Educational Technology

Edokpaigbe Friday has passion in teaching. He has taught in government schools and other private schools in and outside his state. He was rated as one of the few committed teachers where he served while working with the government. This made the Ministry of Education to appoint him as an external supervisor of the Senior Secondary School Exam.

He joined the Deeper Life High School in 2010 as a pioneer staff. He has worked as a principal in three campuses (DLHS Calabar campus; DLHS Yenagoa campus  and DLHS Osogbo campus).

He has undergone managerial training within and outside the country. In September, 2022 , he went for a training at the University of Oulu, Finland and was awarded with a certificate on management.
