James Comfort Olubunmi is the current Principal of Deeper Life High School, Lafia Campus, Nasarawa State, Nigeria. She was formerly the Principal of DLHS Ado Ekiti.

Before assuming office at DLHS Ado on 17^th September, 2020, Mrs. James was the Principal, Senior School, DLHS, Abuja campus and doubled as the Vice Principal administration for the campus. She was responsible for coordinating all the non-academic staff and their units. She ensured all operations concerning the kitchen, hostels, security, sanitation, stores, bakery, water factory, library, tuck-shop, garden, accounts, counselling and general welfare of students and staff ran smoothly. In addition to this, she was also the coordinator of the International Examinations Unit of the campus which offered students the opportunity to be trained and enrolled for international exams such as the Cambridge exam (IGCSE), Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).

Prior to joining DLHS Abuja, she had worked with Premier International Secondary School, Wuse II, Abuja, where she was responsible for teaching Biology and Agricultural science, coordinating activities in the Science Laboratory and participating in curriculum development.

Previous to her work at Premier, she worked at Cedar International School, Kubwa, Abuja where as a pioneer staff she helped in building the school for seven years and rose from the humble position of a classroom teacher through the ranks to eventually head the school as the Principal, coordinating both the administrative and academic activities of staff and students.

With more than twenty years of teaching various science subjects and mentoring nursery, primary and secondary school students, Mrs. James is a seasoned educationist. She is a product of the prestigious Abeokuta Girls Grammar School (AGGS), Onikolobo, Abeokuta, Ogun State (1990).

A registered teacher with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN, 2009), She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from Usman Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (2007); A Masters in Agricultural Technology from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) Ondo State, (2003); A Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology from the University of Jos, Plateau State (1998) and most recently a Certificate in Professional Development training for School Managers from the University of Oulu, Finland (2022).
